An immersive, rewarding summer experience in China
This programme provides the opportunity to immerse yourself in Chinese culture for 3 months over the summer, combining a live-in tutoring role with a Mandarin Chinese course. Living with a friendly family in Chengdu, home of the Giant Panda and delicious spicy food, you’ll get a true insight into this fascinating country, a perspective on the culture as well as valuable teaching experience.
It’s very similar to our main Immersion and Study programme, but suitable for those who may only have a 3 month break from their studies during June, July and August, or who are seeking a shorter term immersive experience. Language lessons are taken at a local language school as opposed to a university, providing the opportunity to meet many others at school.
