Teach for American Eagle Institute, Shanghai
Eagle Educational & Cultural Enterprises, Ltd. (EECE) was established with the vision of improving Asia’s English education to increase the competitive advantage of Asian students in the global world. Shortly after the establishment of EECE a partnership was created with McGraw-Hill, a renowned American publishing company, to uphold the promise of providing quality English curriculum. Eagle’s commitment and dedication to continuously improving its curriculum has kept it on the leading edge of the ESL sector.
EECE strives to reinvent the public’s view on English education. Traditionally, English has been considered a subject students learn via rote memorization of vocabulary, rather than the spoken application of these words. They believe that English is a language people should use to express opinions and to share ideas, and students are taught how to use language in their every day lives, and converse with others.
The successful candidate will work Wednesday to Sunday, and will join 5 other native English teachers at the campus in Zhabei District of Shanghai. Students are aged between 3 and 15 years old, with the majority between the ages of 7- 12.
Full training will be provided on the company’s curriculum on arrival, as well as support to find an apartment should you choose to have an accommodation allowance. Assistance with the visa application process will be provided.
