ESL Teacher – Xinzhou Primary School, Wuxi

Xinzhou Primary School, Wuxi, require 2 ESL teachers for a mid-February 2018 start. The successful candidates will teach for 18 hours per week, with limited office hours.

The contract is for 3 semesters, from February 2018 to June 2019.

Teachers receive good orientation support from the facilitating organisation, Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange (JESIE). A nice apartment is provided within the same block as other foreign teachers, and teachers have a paid summer and winter vacation.

School Introduction

Wuxi Xinzhou Primary school, established September 2015 is a vibrant and developing young school. The school is located on the north of Meiyu Road, on the west of Xinzhou Road and to the east of Gaolang Road in Wuxi New District. It lies beside the Lianxin Community and surrounding beautiful environment which makes it become an ideal place to study.

The school covers an area of approximately 43,000 square meters with a design scale of 48 classrooms. The total construction is 18,000 square meters. The school contains music classrooms, dancing rooms, art classrooms, scientific laboratories, school-based curriculum function rooms, computer rooms, studios, reading rooms, a playground and a gymnasium which provide children a full range of practical activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Native English passport holder
• Bachelor’s degree
• 120 hour TEFL certification, or 2 years post-graduation experience
• Prior experience of tutoring or teaching is preferred, but not required
