Since its founding, i² has expanded to 21 campuses throughout Chengdu and 35 campuses outside of Chengdu, with more than 300 foreign teachers. i² provides quality education for thousands of students, and has a thriving arts and music department, which is currently recruiting for a Fine Arts Teacher on their Chengdu Campus.
Job description
Using a small class format – a maximum student number of 4, and a vast majority of classes having only 1 or 2 students – i² tailor-makes each course to their desired specifications. You’ll be teaching students aged 3 to 12, in English, an encouraging them to explore Art in an immersive English environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide arts courses including, painting, sculptures and illustration to students of all ages (3 to 12 mainly)
- Give demos to new students and do marketing activities
- Attend weekly meetings, training, workshops and administration
- Handle all class sizes from 1 on 1 to groups
- 5 working days per week
- Working hours per week: 30 (20 teaching + 10 non-teaching)

- Basic salary: 11,000+ RMB per month

- Quarterly evaluation bonus: 300 to 1,000RMB depending on performance
- Overtime pay: 200 RMB per hour for extra teaching
Support will be given to complete the Z visa application process.
Allowance system
- Housing allowance: 1,800 RMB per month
- Reimbursement of flight ticket to China: 6,000 RMB as maximum
- Flight allowance: 6,000 RMB on the completion of contract
- Traffic allowance: depending on actual monthly teaching hour

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major
- At least 2 years related experience
- Teaching certificate or arts awards preferred
- 22 to 40 years old
- Adaptable to relocation
