Chel-C UK Education are London and Shenzhen based education company. Their parent company – Keyword Education is a well-known education corporation in the sector of English training for young learners in China. Founded in the UK in 2007, their headquarter is Shenzhen.
CHEL-C have 23 teaching centres located in large shopping malls across all districts in Shenzhen, with more to be opened in other cities this year, and employ over 100 foreign teachers.
Living and working in Shenzhen, your focus will be teaching and practising oral English with young learners aged from 3 to 16 years old with a maximum class size of 10 students. The students are divided into different classes according to their age and English level. The basic English level classes are usually supported by a Mandarin-speaking teaching assistant in the classroom helping to organise the class.
Structured teaching material and lesson plans are provided to assist the teacher’s lesson preparation and delivery. Teachers typically use games, songs, dances or free flowing conversations to get students engaged with the aim of developing students’ interest in language learning and building up our students’ abilities to use English in real life.
Chel-C are currently offering an early arrival bonus of £400/$550 for teachers who can start in Shenzhen by the end of April and £300/$450 for teachers able to arrive by the end of May.
Salary Range: RMB13,000-16,000 per month
Accommodation: Apartment provided for first month in Shenzhen, accommodation allowance included in salary, assistance finding apartment.
Flights: RMB10,000 Flight and Visa Reimbursement

Other: Sponsored TEFL course, RMB5000 salary in advance, early joining bonus of £400/$550 for teachers who can start in Shenzhen by the end of April and £300/$450 for teachers able to arrive by the end of May.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree, Native English speaker, TEFL Certification is preferable (Company in-house TEFL sponsorship available)
Experience: Chel-C welcome applications from all candidates who are energetic and enjoy working with children. Any teaching experience is desirable, but not strictly necessary, all candidates must be friendly, patient and responsible with excellent communication skills.
Other: Clean criminal record background check.
Training and Support
Chel-C offer excellent arrival and orientation training. Helping teachers settle into their new surrounding is vitally important and this is a priority among the HR and management team in Shenzhen.
As well as the introductory training, ongoing progress reports, training and workshops will be provided.
